Heather Allen has more than seventeen years of experience working in local government on energy and climate programs. Heather started her career as a land use planner for the County of Santa Barbara. In her current role as Sustainability Program Administrator at the County of Ventura, she implements local energy, electrified transportation, and climate mitigation and adaptation initiatives. Heather also supports the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance (VCREA), where she enjoys working on regional climate initiatives with member agencies, cities, businesses, non-profits, community members, and partners from Los Angeles to Santa Cruz Counties.
