Alero Moju is an Energy Sustainability Specialist with the County of San Mateo Office of Sustainability. She works on residential decarbonization programs and policy. She currently serves as the County Representative for the Bay Area Regional Energy Networks Residential programs and Codes & Standards. She collaborates closely with her local Community Choice Aggregator (Peninsula Clean Energy) to best lead the County’s Reach Codes efforts. She received her MS in Environment & Development from the University and Edinburgh in 2021 and earned her B.A degree in French and Global Studies with a concentration in Environment and Sustainable Development in 2015 from the University of Minnesota.
