Ariana Vito is a Senior Sustainability Analyst in the City of Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability & the Environment. She leads the implementation of the City’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan, which focuses on citywide building and transportation decarbonization. She authored the City’s first Electric Vehicle Action Plan, manages the expansion of the City’s public EV charging network, and has developed policies and programs to increase EV charging access in both new and existing buildings. She has a background in environmental policy and transportation planning and holds a Master of Urban & Regional Planning from UCLA. Ariana chairs the Sustainability Committee for the International Codes Council (ICC) Los Angeles basin chapter and recently joined the Green Cities California Steering Committee.
