Gray Gautereaux (they/them) specializes in residential building electrification and has managed energy programs for Central Coast jurisdictions since 2021. They currently serve as the Green Buildings Analyst for the City of San Luis Obispo Office of Sustainability and Natural Resources. In this role, they lead research and community outreach to assess the cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and co-benefits of electrifying manufactured homes. They also aid in the development and adoption of municipal policies that support the implementation of the City’s Climate Action Plan. Previously, they worked for Tri-County Regional Energy Network managing programs related to workforce development, rebates and incentives, energy code education, and reach code policy development. Gray is a University of California Climate Steward and holds a Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy from the University of Nevada, Reno.
